Ge’Nyen, a mountain located in Sichuan Province, China, is regarded as a holy mountain in Tibetan Buddhism. I visited it in 2023 and discovered a great temple nestled beneath its majestic slopes. A monk guided me through the temple and showed me its treasures. One of them was an unusual stone adorned with exquisite patterns. They call it the Heart of Ge’Nyen. As I touched the stone, I suddenly felt the heartbeat of the holy mountain. Inspired by this profound moment, I decided to write this piece to capture my feelings from that experience.
